The information on this site and in the courses listed on this site provide an overview and some site specific information for work on railroad property.  This site and courses do not itself alter or determine compliance responsibilities, which are set forth in FRA, OSHA standards themselves and the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Moreover, because interpretations and enforcement policy may change over time, for additional guidance on FHA and OSHA compliance requirements, the student should consult current administrative interpretations and decisions by the FRA and the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, your primary employer and the courts. This site is run as a separate entity and is not associated with any railroad. These courses are presented as an additional informational tool only. You and your employer are responsible for implementing specific policies and procedures for your job-sites that meet the requirements of FRA, OSHA, and each host railroad.
